Ian
Ian
Ian, a Cum Laude graduate in Human Movement Sciences from VU Amsterdam and a professional triathlete, is the embodiment of determination and talent. When in the Netherlands, he strengthens our programs as an energetic Fit-4-Business coach, using his expertise and experience to inspire others.
His athletic career took off in 2019 when he won the Dutch Junior Triathlon Championship for the first time, a title he successfully defended in the following years. Competing in the World Championships U23 in Edmonton in 2021 marked a significant milestone. Achieving the 7th fastest run split overall, he gained invaluable insights into what it takes to compete against the world's best. Inspired by this experience, Ian based his bachelor thesis on the lessons learned from that race.
His growth continued with an impressive 4th place finish at the ETU Finals in Quarteira among the Elite Men at the end of 2021. However, early in 2022, adversity struck— a severe knee injury forced him to miss both the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
With remarkable patience and perseverance, Ian worked his way back. He celebrated his comeback in December 2023 with an impressive 3rd place at the African Cup in Tunis. Yet, the road to recovery took another hit in 2024 when a cycling crash during a race in Poland dashed his hopes of qualifying for the Paris Olympics.
Now, Ian is fully focused on a powerful return, setting his sights on Los Angeles 2028 and the successful completion of his Master’s in Human Movement Sciences, specializing in Sports Psychology. His journey proves that true champions excel not only in performance but also in resilience.

What sets him apart goes beyond conventional coaching and cognitive methods—he specializes in deep transformational processes that work with the subconscious, delivering lasting results. His wealth of skill and experience ensures these techniques are applied with precision and impact.
A former Royal Marines Commando with 20 years of service, Adrian concluded his military career at the Commando Training Centre in Devon. His exceptional achievements include being awarded the MBE in 2000 for his pivotal role in a groundbreaking mountaineering expedition where he became the 10th Briton to summit Kangchenjunga—the world’s third-highest peak at 8,586 meters (28,186 feet). Remarkably, this remains the highest altitude ever reached without oxygen by a British serviceman, a feat he remains deeply proud of, made possible by the military community and the exceptional team he was part of.
Since leaving the military in 2004, Adrian has thrived in the corporate High-Performance Team Development sector, working as a freelance expert while also leading and contributing to diverse projects.
